DIY X-MAS ORNAMENTS USING OLD LIDS

LILYARDOR

– natural cotton cording – lid band (regular mouth not wide mouth) – fabric – hot glue – wood beads

Prep The Lids

Cut 1 inch strips of fabric to wrap around your lids.

Use some hot glue to secure your fabric around the lids as you wrap it. Be sure to use the same color fabric as your rope.

Start by tying your rope to secure it.

Now create a loop and pull another loop through it all while making sure your wrapping the loops around the lid.  ( sharing video instructions on the blog if this is confusing )

Here you can see me pulling a loop out after creating my first loop. Just keep repeating these steps until the whole ornament is wrapped.

Once you get to the end. Separate the rope the feed some wood beads on and tie a knot to secure them.
