Fresh Strawberry Lemonade
Fresh Strawberries
Fourth of July is just around the corner and I wanted to share this scrumptious recipe with you guys. Summer has finally arrived and we’ve had some consistently warm weather which makes me super excited π π , because for a while there I was starting to think we weren’t going to have a summer. πΒ I’m sure we all love hot weather but, once it hits past 90 degrees I’m craving for a cold drink… I probably go through 3 to 5 smoothies on a hot day! πΒ Although this isn’t a smoothie… it is a family favorite.Β Why is this our favorite drink? Well…If you love eating boxes of freshly picked perfectly ripe Californian strawberries??.. Than you’ll love this drink because the fresh taste of strawberry’s will keep you asking for more.
On the subject of strawberries.. Strawberry lemonade isn’t lemonade without lemons. So I picked a bucket… hehe. just kidding. π I wish!! I’ve always wanted a lemon tree. Unfortunately we only own apple trees.

Yep.. Bought these purdy things at our local grocery store.Β OK.. I probably picked up every single lemon on that shelve only to realize 20 minutes in I was way to carried away.. hehe. Once I pick up more then two I feel like I have to check each and every single one of them. π Or maybe I just came across a bad batch.Β Although.., I did manage to find a few purdy ones. π π
What You’ll Need To make this Mouth Watering Lemonade
3/4 cup Country Time Lemonade
9 1/2 cups of cold Water
1/3 cup sugar
5-6 fresh strawberries
1/2 lemon
Blender
Pitcher
I keep a big jug of this country time lemonade.. It’s my go to for mixing smoothies and drinks.

Add 5-6 strawberries to your blending cup.

Then pour 1/2 cup water, 3/4 cup country time lemonade, and 1/3 cups sugar in the same cup.

Blend until the liquid has no chunks.

Then pour into your pitcher. π

Add 9 cups of water and squeeze 1/2 a lemon. Stir and enjoy!Β π (I like my drinks pretty sweet.. Add water if it’s to sweet for your liking)
Hope you guys enjoy this recipe. π
