Yes, time does fly. They are no longer babies to hold. They are so independent (my 8 year old cooked dinner all by himself last night for him and his 2 year old brother as I was not feeling well and fell asleep).
I cherish each and everyday with them. Looking back at the photos it does make me so sad.
Can you imagine in 10 years when they are off at college. That is going to be super sad…

I am proud of myself, which is something I never allowed myself to be. When my husband died suddenly of cardiac arrest and left me as a 36 year old widow with 4&5 year old children, I changed my life. I went back to college for a postgraduate, within a month of finishing that I landed my dream job. I challenged myself and lost 60lbs to be healthier for my kids sake and mine. I got 3 professional certifications all while having my children win awards at school as well.
I’m proudest of me and how I have faced the challenges life threw my way.

WOW! Those are some amazing people you have surrounding you! I’m sorry to hear what you have to go through. LOL I totally get it I don’t think I could pick between my hubby or my son. I’m proud of them both equally. It’s such an amazing feeling to know you have someone to lean on emotionally and physically. Thank God for people like that! 😀 😀 😀
