In reply to <a href="https://www.lilyardor.com/skirt-extender-slip/#comment-960">Rachel Drinnon</a>.

Hi Rachel, oh wow that's hot. We had 90 today and I was burning up. Stayed in with the AC up all day. Gosh girl I feel your struggle. Clothing is such a hard thing to fit into nowadays everything is made ssso short. I'm 5'4 (which is pretty short) and I struggle all the time too. HAHA totally laughed out loud. YES (hands down) shorts are real struggle. Have you tried consignment shopping? I love shopping there because they usually have brand name clothing for a fraction of the price. I usually find the best clothing there. Plato's closet is a popular one Uptown cheapskate is another fav. Check them out let me know what you think? I'm also thinking what if you added like a very pretty trim to the bottom it doesn't have to be lace maybe check out the ribbon section in Joanns Fabric they have like pretty bohemian or aztec trimmings. Anyways girl I wish you luck. Keep me updated! :)

Hi Lily, I found your cactus on hometalk so I hadda come check out your blog. I love this! I have really long legs and summer shopping can be tough. If I can ever get my sewing machine going I'm going to make this. I'll probably end up hand sewing it. Now if someone can come up with something cute to add length to shorts! It's 104 where I live today and it seems like my butt cheeks wanna come out of everything I find in stores. I can find longer stuff thrift shopping, but like you said, everything longer looks like it's for older ladies.
