The LOVE of TEA!!!

You either LOVE it or you don’t?  I’m a 3 jugs a day kind of girl. Winter always seems so long.  My house stays pretty warm but for some weird reason I am always freezing. HAHA! I take a look out the window and that’s enough to keep me cold for a few hours. So, my love of tea is.. cuddling by the warm cozy fire with a soft fuzzy blanket over me and a big jug of teavana’s tea…And Yes I mean a jug or should I say bucket. lol. I usually buy the biggest cups at the store.

LOVE / HATE?

On the subject of Teavana’s loose tea.  I love love love their flavors but, I hate that it’s loose tea. LOVE-HATE relationship kind if deal. I just don’t feel like whipping out my tea infuser ball or my glass steamer every single time I have tea and I like it freshly brewed each time.  If you drink 3-5 cups of tea a day you probably know what I mean!! Sometimes I just want to throw a tea bag into my cup and sip away… 😀 I solved my problem with these DIY tea bags.

I also took the liberty of making some cute printable tea tags :D.  Oh my gosh this would be such a cute gift for your favorite tea lover.  😀 Now remember Ladies!!” KEEP CALM AND DRINK TEA” 😀 😀

What you’ll need

Homemade Tea Bags

This is a pretty self explanatory process and quicker then you think 😉 I simply added a spoon of loose leaf tea into each coffee filter and tied it with the string..

Just like this…Then I cut off all the excess coffee filter..

Does anybody wanna guess what happens to a stapler when you have kids in the house?? Yep they use up all the staples !! 😀 I never realized how amusing it was watching those magical staples pop out every time you squeeze it. hehe. So, this is where my handy hot glue gun came in handy. (staple or glue the tags to the string)
